The 1500FPK was inspired by the classic Encyclopaedia Britannica – once the most relevant dictionary of the world. In 2015 Footpatrol paid tribute to it by producing a collaboration on the 1500 with New Balance because in 2012 the Encyclopaedia Britannica was discontinued.
