Between all the breathtaking collaborations, hot releases and beautiful colorways that reach us almost every day, there comes a sneaker every now and then that sticks out from the masses. And we immediately know: We want to do something special for this release. The 30th anniversary of the New Balance 1500 and the associated »Anniversary Pack« was one of those moments for us in 2019.
We experienced an unforgettable roadtrip to the birthplace of all the »Made in England« models, shot a lookbook of the most beautiful »1500« colorways and had a unique look behind the scenes of the New Balance factory in Flimby. As if this wasn‘t enough we had the privilege of creating our very own 1500 colorway.

2019 marks a great year for one of the most iconic New Balance styles. The »Made In England« 1500 turns 30. Time to celebrate one of the world’s most sought after kicks.
To honor this special occasion New Balance introduced the »Anniversary Pack« including the classic 1500 and the brand-new 1530, a novelty hybrid that fuses classic elements with contemporary innovations.
Both styles feature high quality premium leather, soft suede and mesh layers. The 1530 was updated with a RevLite sole unit on the classic 1500 upper that reduced the weight by 30% compared to the original. The 1530 offers more layers than the classic silhouette but continues the timeless design of the 1500 series.
