adidas x Dragon Ball Z

The collaboration between adidas Originals and the collaboration with legendary TV series Dragon Ball Z is coming to 43einhalb. The collaboration comprises seven sneakers, each inspired by famous chraracters of the iconic series, celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Every month, starting in September, adidas Originals will release 2 pair of these sought-after sneakers. Following the series‘ chronology, every sneaker duo embodies an iconic fight between two rivals, one is a hero, facing a villain. Typical for Japanese mangas, the sneakers‘ silhouette will have intense colours, depending on the Dragon Ball Z character‘s appearance.

Following heroes and villains will get a look alike sneaker: The Frieza-saga‘s main characters Son Goku (ZX 500 RM) and Frieza (Yung-1) will be released in September. Next month, the epic battle between Cell (Prophere) and Son Gohan (Deerupt) is going the be presented. The opponents of Majin Buu-saga, Vegeta (Ultra Tech) and Majin Buu (Kamanda), get their sneaker release in November.

Summed-up, one model is still missing: Last but not least, the dragon Shenlong (EQT Mid ADV), fulfilling a desire if you own all of the seven dragon balls, is having its sneaker release. Possibly you can call Shenlong yourself, if you own each model of the sneaker collection – you will find out!
