On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of 43einhalb in 2021 it's time for a classic. After the "RED" in 2014, the GREY in 2016 it was time for the BLUE. An all-time classic that you can rock anytime, anywhere, and one that has connected us to the brand since the beginning of our love for New Era's fitted caps.

But the reasons for the Dark Navy are not just a Jay-Z "Yankees Hat", Luc Besson "Le Grand Bleu" or late 90s hip hop retrospective. The color has a deeper significance for us. It represents clear level-headedness, neutrality and clarity - confidence and conveys a sense of security. Especially in the current times, we can live well with this symbolism and message.

The embossed metal badge »CLASS10« on the side stands for the combination of CLASSIC & 10 on the occasion of our anniversary in '21, just like the headband stick details with the three year numbers and contrast stitching in the colors of the previous 43einhalb Red & the Grey Cap. Also our 10 year logo including »11611« anagram, which reflects the 43einhalb opening on June 11th 2011, can be found on the cap.

The material of the cap is made of the new REPREVE® recycling which comes across extremely smooth. This contains recycled plastic bottles whose containers are ground and melted down. This is then used to make the durable yarn. In this way, over 25 billion plastic bottles have now been recycled.

But that's not all: each cap comes with an original drawstring bag with »43einhalb« and »CLASS10« branding made of the same REPREVE® material, so you can store your cap dust-free and take it with you! We deliberately did without the magnetic boxes of the first two collabs for sustainability reasons.

Since the current political situation has not left us unscathed, we will donate 5€ per cap sold to #LeaveNoOneBehind. An organization that values solidarity at European borders and beyond. Among other things, it provides emergency aid during the war in Ukraine together with its partner organization.
