»Sneakers that are made differently.«
Since 2005 the French company VEJA has been proving that style and sustainability can go hand in hand in the sneaker game. n order to reinvent the classical sneaker-understandig one pair of VEJA follows a simple idea: Standing up with one foot in design and the other in social responsibility.
And that‘s how it all started: In 2005 the two founders Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion asked themselves one serious question:»Is another world possible?«. In order to find an answer the two men went on a journey to understand the evolution of raw material prices and the production process of sneakers. On their journey they did not only found a positive answer to their question but also a name for their new label: »Veja« is Portuguese and means »Look there!«. And that‘s exactly what the fair label does: By maintaining fair working conditions and paying raw material prices above the average world price VEJA strives for transparency, saustainability and fairness.
The »VEJA V 12« is like all other VEJA models made in Brazil. The sole features natural rubber and therefore prevents further deconstruction of the rainforest.
