Mizuno

Rihachi Mizuno and his younger brother Rizo founded MIZUNO Brothers Ltd. in Osaka in 1906.

They were impressed by the baseball culture of the United States and started manufacturing baseball clothes and baseball shoes to spread the sport in Japan. Later, they produced tennis products, football shoes to running shoes and still support the improvement of sporting goods and the promotion of sport for the common good.

The Mizuno brand believes in a sustainable future where all people can live together on a safe and secure planet. They continue to work to create a future where we can enjoy sports around the world, anytime, without restrictions. In 2021, Mizuno decided to focus on the protection of the environment and nature, physical and mental health through sport, and respect for every human being in the area of sustainability with the aim of strengthening their contribution to society and the protection of our planet. They have also committed to being CO2 neutral from 2050, especially in terms of environmental protection.
