Ein dämonisches Schaf, ein Jäger, der zur Beute wurde – die Geschichte unserer ersten Kollaboration mit KangaROOS endete mit einem Cliffhanger und öffnete 2015 die Tür für den OVIS Mythos.
Mit unserer zweiten KangaROOS Collab erzählen wir die Geschichte des Jägers weiter. Zurückgelassen als Beute, kämpft er mit einer inneren, animalischen Transformation. Verzerrte Töne werden lauter, unklare Linien werden scharf – und es scheint, als wäre der Jäger mächtiger zurück als je zuvor: LUPUS.
Wie auch sein Vorgänger wurde LUPUS als »Made in Germany« KangaROOS in der Hummel & Hummel Schuhmanufaktur produziert, limitiert auf 800 Paar.
Wir wählten den KangaROOS Runaway als Silhouette, um den Charakter des LUPUS mit hochwertigen Velour- und Nubukledern in Grau- und Blautönen, Alcantara-Lining und Iced-Outsole zu interpretieren. Ergänzt mit Prägungen auf dem Obermaterial, dem Wolfskopf über der Ferse, den bedruckten Innensohlen mit »Lupus-Pattern« und gravierten silbernen Lacelocks sind wir sehr stolz auf »Kapitel 2« unserer Saga und freuen uns, mit »LUPUS« in das 10-Jahres-Jubiläumsjahr von 43einhalb zu starten.

The demonic sheep, a predator turned prey – the story of our first collaboration with KangaROOS finished with a cliffhanger and triggered the OVIS myth in 2015.
With our next project in collaboration with KangaRoos, the saga of the hunter is set to continue. Left behind as prey, he is fighting with an inner, animalic transformation. Distorted sounds become louder, unclear lines become sharp – and it seems as if the hunter is back more powerful than ever before: LUPUS has arrived.
Just like its predecessor, the LUPUS was produced as a Made in Germany sneaker by the Muenchweiler-based Hummel & Hummel shoe manufactory and is limited to 800 pairs worldwide.
For the second chapter of the mystical saga, we chose the KangaROOS Runaway as a silhouette to interpret the LUPUS character with high-quality materials like velour and nubuck leather in shades of grey and blue. Furthermore we equipped the Ultimate with an alcantara lining and an icy outsole for a premium feel. Complemented with embossed brandings on the upper, the wolf’s head at the heel, bespoke printed insoles with the »LUPUS pattern« and engraved silver lace locks, we are very proud of »Chapter 2« of our saga and are excited to start 43einhalb’s 10th anniversary year with the »LUPUS«.
