Zum Auftakt der Premium Fashion Show Berlin ließ Hornbach im Atelier von Neulant van Exel in Berlin Kreuzberg den DIY »Sneakerpool« über mehrere Monate mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail anfertigen und wir haben am Event mit Freunden, Turnschuhliebhabern und Heimwerker-Profis aus ganz Europa die Enthüllung des Sneakerpools gefeiert.
To kick off the Premium Fashion Show Berlin, Hornbach had the DIY “sneaker pool” made with great attention to detail over several months in Neulant van Exel’s studio in Berlin Kreuzberg and we celebrated the unveiling of the sneaker pool yesterday with friends, sneaker lovers and DIY professionals from all over Europe.
Bei dem unfassbar detailverliebten Bau des Pools setzte die Crew auf Materialien, die es alle bei Hornbach zu kaufen gibt. Jede einzelne Naht und die verschiedenen Materialien des Original-Schuhs wurde kreativ und mit viel Leidenschaft auf das überdimensionale Paar übertragen.
For the incredibly detailed construction of the pool, the crew relied on materials that are all available for purchase at Hornbach. Every single seam and the different materials of the original shoe were creatively and passionately transferred to the oversized pair.
After Aminata Belli’s introductory speech, the sneaker pool was opened for the exclusively invited guests and was ready for bathing. Another highlight was provided by the surprise act Badchieff, who received musical support from the DJ duo Kim Swim and Josi Miller.
