For the first time in history Frankfurt will host two NFL games, transforming the city into the European capital of American football for two weeks. So get your football jerseys out, because the NFL is coming to Frankfurt and the excitement is building.
What to expect around the mega event
One of the highlights is undoubtedly the »NFL Experience Frankfurt«, which takes place in the middle of the city around the Rossmarkt and the Hauptwache. Here you can admire giant XXL helmets of your favorite teams and test your own football skills. The »Quarterback Challenge« and a mini-field for a round of flag football await you. And the best part? It is free and open to everyone. Gates will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 4th – 11th. On game days, November 5 and 12, the stadium will be filled with NFL action.
NFL Team Fan Pubs
Another highlight is the fan pubs of the different NFL teams. During game weeks, some of Frankfurt’s hottest bars are transformed into team pubs where you can celebrate with your friends before and after the games.
The Chiefs and Pats have a lot in store!
The »ChampionShip« is the place to be for all football fans! Fans will be able to enjoy public viewing and celebrate together just steps away from the »Eiserner Steg«.
The New England Patriots have built their own »Patriots House« in the heart of Frankfurt. All six of the Lombardi trophies the team has won for its six Super Bowl victories are on display here. This place is becoming a hotspot for all Patriots fans.
Other Events
The NFL games are without a doubt the biggest highlight, but there’s more you don’t want to miss. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be at the Römer during the games to sign the city’s Golden Book. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the head of the NFL up close and personal!
And for the perfect finale, the Sports Illustrated parties are coming to Frankfurt. These exclusive events, usually only celebrated during the Super Bowl, will now take place on November 4th and 11th at »Fortuna Somewhere«. Local and international entertainers, athletes, celebrities and influencers will make the nights unforgettable.
