The story behind the logo
The Frankfurt Games will be hosted at the Deutsche Bank Park stadium – formerly known as the legendary »Waldstadion«, home of Eintracht Frankfurt, the best Bundesliga club ever! 
Eintracht’s biggest success at a home game was the 9th UEFA Cup win in 1980. So we took a closer look at the Super Bowl logo from 1980 as well and got our inspiration from it. We fell in love with the vintage style of the curved font combined with Roman numerals and wanted to pay a tribute to it. Our logo features the curved lettering »Frankfurt Games« and a Roman »2023«. And of course the skyline, because »One cannot simply walk into« Frankfurt without being impressed by the skyline.
By the way, the Air Force 1 was first released only two years after Eintracht won the UEFA Cup at home – the perfect fit for our customization.
